My name is Jamie Merriman,

           In early 2022 I set about learning Photography from my home in Paulding Ohio.

    I'm a mother of two girls, 24 & 20. And a husband, John David, who is like no other. He builds props, carries the loads, and drives me when I'm exhausted. I'm family is amazing in the support and love they give me everyday on this journey.

       We own a small farm on the banks of The Maumee River in NW Ohio. We have a barn full of horses and are slowly adding to our Reining heard of mares and babies.

       We also have cows and geese, and rabbits and ponys, even a donkey to even everyone out. We're pretty blessed and are thankful everyday for what God has granted us. Fast forward to a few years ago.......

        I'm the kind of person that only knows full steam ahead. So I jumped in with everything in me. 

         I took classes and absorbed everything I could find on the ol' Web. Once I was ready I then told myself I wouldn't turn away a session, no matter the subject, that I needed to be able to know what I DIDN'T want to shoot.

        I also knew my dream job was a ways away. So every waking moment has been with a camera in my hand.

   24 months  later  I've finally fallen into that dream job. Equine Photography. I'm now happily booking every Show, Event and Client that comes my way.
